Quite not
so late I arrived there at Hotel Putra KL altogether with another two juniors
of mine. Being picked up by Bro.Syazwan at Ampang Park LRT Station.
The time we
arrive they’re already started. Still we being direct to register at the
counter. They’re already divide us into group as there is a name in group. Plus
each of us gain a sticker that need for us to stick it at the back of our back
with our name and group number.
The JKMPKA
people quite really have a vivid objective for their aim to organize this
programme.
Oh ya.. I
sat beside this two friend represent the church. I only know the name of the
sister, Deedra (20). Younger than me plus she’s look matured. Still she act her
age. Her friend, age 26, though I guess he is 24. They’re both nice and one
more things Deedra is someone who easily to laugh.. Eventually I’m being
influence too, as I sat beside her J.
They aim to
promote Unity – Peace – Harmony among different religion in Malaysia. Other
than that, they want to have a group of youth with different faith to represent
the country to work together for the sake of the people goodness.
They do
brief about the history of JKMPKA establishment. What is JKMPKA?
It stands
for, Jawatankuasa Mempromosikan Persefahaman di antara Penganut Agama. Being
formed in 2010 if I’m not mistaken.
The other
info you guys may search for it in the net. As I’m not the type to easily pick
up with the names being told as they’re quite so fast. People’s name is hard to
write as each people may have differ way of writing their name though the name
sound the same.
Despite of
that, it do provide a platform for all religion to bring their own
understanding about the differences. To find common value each religion have.
Bro. Raimi
did recommended few books to be read. But he emphasize on the book by Caroline
if I’m not mistakenly heard what being said, Ruthedge Handbook of Contemporary
Malaysia.
The point I
gained from Mr.Chan speech ;
There’s still a lot of issue
arise being rise by some groups of people. Then he quote a word by
Mr.Ganesan(I’m not quite sure with the name), we too much emphasize in looking
into differences. Why not we do a programme that we have common value and understanding?
Indeed, we
still have crisis to respond or having a SOP to respond upon an issue that
arise. Much more of it, do involve the social conflict within the community.
We’ll only
be in unity when there’s an issue of MH370 and MH17. Why can’t we be in UNITY
in ALL TIME?
Though
we(the country) are having a problem. Nevertheless, it is a beloved country of
us where we born and we live. Where we will go if not to stay in our own
country.
Anything
that’s free is a fortunate things and also a ‘rizk’ for people. In the other
hand, peace and unity is not to be gain freely or easily. There’s a price need
to be pay.
To be a
leader we need to read. So guys, read a lot and share it with others the
knowledge you have. Don’t forget to ask those who have more knowledgeable upon
the issue that arise or anything. As we asking the right person we able to find
the right answer on our own question.
I’ll like
to share a saying from Dato’ Dr Siddiq Fadzil, he said that “Soalan itu suatu
yang tiada jawapan yang akan diketemui, hanya persoalan sahaja. Kalau bertanya,
atau ada pertanyaan itu pasti mendapat jawapannya.”
Still it is
only applicable in Malay owns word. In English it is different (my opinion).
Sometimes
people may confuse with religion and culture.
Hmm… how
can I comment upon this? Indeed, culture and religion is different.
Still
religion do shape the culture. What we can eat and etc.
That’s why
every people need to have the knowledge of others religion in order to know
their own sensitivity. Every religion do have their own sensitivity such as the
culture.
One story I
share which I gain from my senior Sis Sakinah Budiman. Malaysian culture
whenever meet up with people across a street or anywhere mostly they will
smile. It’s a sign of respect and kindness. But in some country(I don’t
remember), a smile to them is having a negative meaning to them.
That’s why
we need to follow the rules of the place we stay as long as it is not against
the thabat of the basic in the religion.
For
example, Islam, we have something called waqi’yyah(setempat;menimbang realitu
setempat yang cukup tersendiri dalam melaksanakan sesuatu). Easy example, a
businessman of a cold weather clothes, he won’t sell it to a country which not
having a cold weather. No one will buy, plus, it is not suitable in accordance
to the place.
Every
kindness we want to spread out we shall have a way or a blueprint a.k.a. plan
to come out with for what action can be taken for the output to be produce when
we give the input.
There’s
also a promotion to read on or to search for the PEW Research center. A brief
introduction; Pew
Research Center is a nonpartisan fact tank that informs the public about the
issues, attitudes and trends shaping America and the world. Which conduct public
opinion polling, demographic research, content analysis and other data-driven
social science research. They do not take policy positions.
Woah! I
totally love to attend a talk. Wanna know why? Due to my own health, no extreme
sport or activity I can involve with, I really focus on a field that able for
me to learn a lot of things. (Though its hard at first as I quite hyper, can
stay quietly. If people put me to stay quietly or really want to see me to be
passive I can, give me a headphone and let me listen to a song all by myself.
Automatically I live in a world different than you guys :p
This
programme, really make me want to read more and more. I bet this will be an
opportunity for me to write upon, which I mean a fiction book upon the issue
arise. I have a lot of draft on fiction writing which waiting for more idea and
my hand to typing it towards the end point. (Okay, sorry for talk about out of
topic which I want to discuss.
Quote of
the day;
“How nice it will be if all
youth of today is having the same thought upon harmony then, the next
generation that’ll lead the country will be able to bring the country at its
own success point of harmony”
Still not
everyone will have positive respond upon the opinion on unity. Every people
have different experience and thought.
But the
point is, how can we change their mindset towards seeing thing through or see
more further for the sake of bright future of the country J
Relationship
with different religion?
Honestly,
I’m from mixed school. I’m not from religion-based school. Just different in my
primary school is it is a female school. While in secondary it is a co-ed
school. I have different friend from different religion. Buddhist, Hindu and
Christian, Muslim always. Some of them, though I’m not attach close with them,
but if I ask for help, they’re willingly to help. One of my bestfriend that I’m
still kept in touch is a Hindu. She so nice. Really a benefactor to me. During
my school time, she’s a brilliant. Motivated me, and advise me a lot and help
me too, to improvise myself. Another one, is a Christian, she’s damn funny. So
much fun. How can I say about her, she’s totally into horoscope, and when she
said about what the horoscope daily said about her, really knocked me out..
Cause me to be in silence.. (Still I didn’t believe in horoscope, as I believe
in my own self-power J)
There’s no
problem to have a relationship with different religion. As long as each other
respect and understand each other religion. My both friend whom I describe
above, they have a dog. When I came to their house, they will keep their dog
away from me. (Jujurnya, tak risau kena samak, tapi memang fobia sebab kes kena
kejar anjing sewaktu berbasikal di taman perumahan zaman kanak-kanak ribena)
All
religion promote peace. Tell me what religion that’s not promoting peace?
There’s none.
The things
that tarnish the harmony being wish by the people is the people itself. If the
people didn’t manifest their religion or embody it in their life, then only
they have the tendency to make a chaos. As the greed upon the fame or etc in
the worldly world on material. Rather than their inner soul needs.
Love to
mankind. Enshrine and embody the beautiful of love to the people.
